Content Factory ("the Application", "we", "us") is a self-hosted content publishing and scheduling tool operated by its owner. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Application accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.
The Application is used by the owner and a small number of authorized users. Each user connects their own accounts and manages only their own content.
Google / YouTube data. When you connect your YouTube channel, you authorize the Application via Google OAuth 2.0 to:
youtube.upload) - to publish videos that you provide, with the title, description, tags, and privacy status that you choose.youtube.readonly) - to display your connected channel and the status of your uploaded videos back to you.We access only the authenticated user's own channel. We do not access, read, or modify any other channel, other users' data, comments, or private data beyond what is listed above.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell or share it with third parties, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the publishing features described above.
The Application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer or use Google user data for serving ads, and we do not allow humans to read this data unless (a) you give consent for specific items, (b) it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or (c) the data is aggregated and anonymized.
You can revoke the Application's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Upon revocation or on request, the stored tokens and connected-account data are deleted.
You are responsible for the content you upload and for holding the rights to publish it. The Application acts only as a tool that uploads content you provide to your own channel.
We may update this Policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
